More than dance educators. More than therapists.

Providing the tools for a healthier dance community.

Hi, we're Brittni and Morgan

We're licensed mental health professionals who are trained dancers and dance educators ourselves.

Our own journeys in dance helped us build confidence, resilience, and meaningful relationships, but it wasn't without challenges. Like many dancers, we experienced perfectionism, unhealthy comparison, body image struggles, and the pressure to prove our worth through achievement.

Those experiences inspired us to become the support we once needed.

Now, we partner with the dance community to create environments that foster a healthier relationship with dance—for everyone.

Why We Exist

Dance is more than technique.

It's where confidence grows.

Where resilience is built.

Where relationships are formed.

Where joy is felt.

We believe mental health belongs in every dance conversation—because a healthy mind is just as important as a healthy body.

That's why we're here.

The Difference We’re Making

  • As a dancer, I experienced my fair share of “tough” teachers. Some of them definitely passed on their unhealed traumas and unhealthy practices onto me. When I became a teacher, I knew that I wanted my dancers to have a different experience. The alignment journal has been a wonderful resource for me to use before I teach every day. It helps me to center myself, set an intention, and reminds me that I have an important, valuable job! We shape a lot of our kids’ lives so it is important for us as adults to lead them with love, grace, and emotional stability. I also love to use the prompts/ideas with my students in class to practice mindfulness. My hope is to help my little corner of the dance world see that mental health is just as important as the physical in our field. I am so thankful for my alignment journal and can’t wait to keep diving into it!

  • I've been working with Brittni for many years, and every session is something I genuinely look forward to. Her guidance is uplifting, insightful, and grounded in real understanding-whether I’m dealing with dance-related challenges or personal stress. She has also sat with me on the phone many times to coach me through difficult moments, encouraging me the whole way while reinforcing that I’m capable and deserving of everything I ask for. She leaves you with a sense of calm and newfound confidence.

  • The alignment cards provided myself and my coaching staff talking points for ourselves as well as with our teams. In moments of uncertainty, or just the general anxiety that comes with the competitive dance atmosphere, we were able to mentally connect at a common starting point and begin a conversation that allowed us all to acknowledge our feelings, take a moment to understand each other in the midst of high emotions , and keep things in perspective. I look forward to using these cards again.
